Ezequiel Farca Studio: Located on the exclusive coast of Punta Mita, Nayarit, this oceanfront residence blends seamlessly with the natural topography to maximize views and comfort. The home features a contemporary architectural style that incorporates handcrafted details unique to the region. Characterized by three interconnected volumes along a longitudinal axis, this layout was designed to offer similar views from the interior spaces on all levels of the house, taking advantage of the site's natural slope.
The house is divided into three areas. The highest volume on the property houses the main entrance and parking area, ensuring privacy and smooth access to the home. Moving downward, the intermediate level is dedicated to the bedrooms. This volume consists of two levels, accommodating ten rooms, each designed with large windows that frame breathtaking ocean views. A combination of Mexican design pieces and custom-made furnishings, created in collaboration with local artisans, was chosen for the interiors. Custom furniture and woodwork were crafted using natural materials such as parota wood and marble. A carefully designed interior garden sits in front of this volume, bringing freshness and tranquility to the lower-level rooms, blurring the boundaries between landscape and built space, and integrating nature into the domestic environment. This garden also serves as a transition between the two volumes closest to the sea.
The lowest volume serves as the social heart of the residence, where the living room, dining area, kitchen, and bar open onto a spectacular terrace with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. This space is distinguished by a laminated pine truss structure, creating a strong connection with its natural surroundings. The openness of this volume is further emphasized by expansive windows that frame the breathtaking ocean view. The infinity pool, strategically placed at the edge of the terrace, appears to merge with the horizon, enhancing the experience of living immersed in nature.
For the exterior materials, a palette of light tones was selected to complement the lush greenery of the landscape and the deep blues of the nearby sea. The open spaces, fluid indoor-outdoor connection, and tiered layout make this home a haven of elegance and comfort, perfect for enjoying the paradisiacal setting of Punta Mita.
