KAMA Taller de Arquitectura: Palmar Hotel Boutique is a space designed to offer a unique hospitality experience on the Island of San Andrés, Colombia. Its architecture combines natural materials, fresh colors, and a harmonious integration with the local vegetation, creating a serene and welcoming atmosphere. Every detail has been carefully considered to establish a fluid connection between the interior and exterior, allowing light and tropical breezes to flow organically through the spaces.

The project unfolds over two levels, with a layout that balances functionality and aesthetics. On the main facade, four commercial spaces activate urban life, fostering a dialogue between the hotel and its surroundings. Above them, two long-term rental apartments provide a more private lodging option, incorporating warm materials such as wood and stone, along with a color palette inspired by sand and greenery.

At the rear of the property, the heart of the project consists of eleven boutique rooms, designed to offer comfort and exclusivity. The finishes include natural textures such as chukum, wood, and concrete lattices, which filter sunlight and create dynamic shadow patterns throughout the day. The central feature of the hotel is a garden with a circular fountain, serving as a gathering and relaxation space that organically distributes the rooms. This inner courtyard becomes a green sanctuary, where tropical vegetation, the soothing sound of water, and natural materials create a tranquil atmosphere.

Palmar Hotel Boutique embraces elegant simplicity and a deep connection with nature, offering an accommodation experience that invites relaxation and contemplation in an environment designed with sensitivity and respect for its surroundings.
