ALTER EGO Project Group: Set in the heart of Saudi Arabia, the OBLIVION, a 6* boutique hotel distinguished with esteemed design accolades, is tailored to the environment, allowing guests to experience the desert and its magnificent views. The architectural essence of OBLIVION revolves around effortlessly blending with its natural surroundings. Drawing inspiration from the desert's forms and hues, the structures incorporate regionally sourced materials, thoughtfully selected for construction, ensuring a cohesive integration into the landscape.

Encompassing 47,000 sqm, the meticulously planned layout includes 40 villas gracefully embracing dramatic rock formations, with a central public area. It guarantees guests' cherished privacy while offering uninterrupted views of the desert scenery. Positioned centrally, the public spaces grant convenient access to all hotel facilities, ensuring ease of movement. Each residence features private outdoor lounge decks and integrated swimming pools, fostering an immersive connection with nature.

The resort boasts luxurious amenities such as a spa, pool area, and gourmet restaurants, all while paying homage to local arts, cuisine, and customs. Utilizing local resources and craftsmanship enriches the sense of place. An exclusive cinema experience allows guests to enjoy movies under the starlit sky, amidst the breathtaking scenery. A nature-inspired color palette seamlessly integrates the design with the surroundings, facilitating a harmonious transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.

Executed with eco-friendly building strategies, the structures are strategically oriented to minimize heat gain while maximizing outdoor views. Organic materials, like local stone, and passive solar design optimize light and temperature. Considerate landscaping, showcasing local endemic plant species, enhances synergy between the buildings and surroundings.

Preserving the landscape's integrity, vehicular access is limited, ensuring tranquility. Architectural and landscape lighting, designed to be unobtrusive and to avoid the light pollution, enhances the unparalleled stargazing experience. A pivotal aspect of the hotel’s sustainability lies in the solar energy system, rainwater collection, and greywater treatment, markedly reducing the carbon footprint and energy consumption.

OBLIVION's fundamental design concept is to provide a seamless and immersive journey through nature. From architecture to landscaping, the hotel stands as a lavish oasis seamlessly integrated into the desert's timeless beauty.
