Casa Amadar: a refuge of peace and contemplation
Di Frenna Arquitectos: A space where architecture and life connect naturally. This residence, designed for people seeking tranquility and comfort on a single level, presents itself with a discreet calm, as if it had always been there, waiting to be inhabited.
The location was not a random choice; it was a response to the inhabitants' deep connection with the environment that surrounds them. The land, with its privileged view of the green area, becomes the heart of the house, the place where daily experiences are nourished by the calm and freshness offered by nature. The terrace and the pool, facing the landscape, are not only spaces for recreation, but are also where time fades away and rest predominates.
The architectural solution is anchored in a fundamental principle: life must flow easily. Therefore, the ground floor houses the most vital spaces, those that allow the inhabitants to live comfortably, without giving up the connection with the outside. The master bedroom opens onto its own terrace, a private corner where mornings are slowly enjoyed with the first ray of sunlight. All spaces on this level share an intimate relationship with the green area.
The material design of the house reflects the desire for durability and sobriety. The materials chosen not only offer resistance to the passage of time, but are also silent custodians of the story that the inhabitants will begin to write in this home. Reduced maintenance is a promise that the structure will remain unchanged, while everything around it evolves.
The architectural program carefully distributes the functions, ensuring that every corner of the house has a clear purpose, from the basement, where there is a storage room for the pool and its bathroom, to the ground floor that houses the most significant living spaces. The garage, the main entrance, the kitchen integrated into the dining room, and the double-height living room all converge towards the terrace, the epicenter of outdoor life. On the upper floor, the two secondary bedrooms with their own bathroom and dressing room, along with the cinema, offer an additional space to receive those who want to share the serenity of this place.
In this project, architecture is not just construction. Each line, each choice of material, each framed view, is a metaphor for life itself, where the essential is found in simplicity, in respect for the environment, and in the creation of a home.
