Blackbird was first sketched in 2012. The drafts were jotted down in a few hours and the free-flowing ideas of a getaway cabin quickly took shape. The project came about through an unfiltered process, without any external impositions.

The location of this project is in Gilan on a sloping land near the river. In designing the project, an effort has been made to make the building away from the ground in order to create ventilation in all sides in addition to the distance from the ground moisture.

Lako is a living box inside the snowy jungle designed by Shomali Design Studio. We tried to use a solid and simple form to make a powerful and safe feeling. On the other hand, making harmony with the surrounding by extending the sloping roof to the ground was our main goal.

Located on the beautiful Dutch island of Texel, Holiday Home is unlike any other residential villa. Instead of dividing the house into different spaces by walls, Orange Architects decided to divide spaces according to the specific use at any moment in time.
