ARRCC, a South African interior design studio, has recently gained global recognition for its triple award win for Best Residential Interiors standing alongside design giants like ZAHA Hadid and Neri & Hu. These three prestigious awards, WAN EMEA, Architizer, and Rethinking The Future saw hundreds of submissions from over 60 countries globally.

“Being recognized alongside major global names is a tremendous honour for ARRCC and South African design as a whole. These awards serve as both a benchmark and an inspiration for future projects. It pushes us to continuously raise our standards and strive for even greater innovation and creativity.” said Mark Rielly, Director of ARRCC.

Step into the villas that capture ARRCC’s essential design philosophies: from barefoot luxury to curated elegance to contemporary glam:

GLEN VILLA

(Best Residential Interiors by Rethinking The Future, Andrew Martin Interior Design Finalist)

Glen Villa impressed the design community with its juxtaposition of contemporary, clean-lined architecture and the powerful organic presence of the mountainside. Located at the foot of Table Mountain, one of the 7 Natural Wonders, this unique Cape Town home is surrounded by beautiful trees.

PARAMA

ARRCC’s Parama drew inspiration from the location’s iconic surroundings including architectural landmarks, the Zeitz MOCAA museum, the Waterfront marina, and views of Devil’s Peak.

CHEETAH PLAINS

World Luxury Hotel Awards Global Winner, Conde Nast Traveler Reader’s Choice Award Winner, Luxury Lifestyle Awards: Best Luxury Residential Interior Design in South Africa, Andrew Martin Interior Designer of the Year Award Finalist, World Architecture Festival (WAF)

Finalist: Hotel & Leisure, World Luxury Hotel Awards Global Winner: Best Luxury Bush Villa, WIN Awards Finalist, World Luxury Hotel Awards Winner

Rising out of the African savannah in Kruger National Park's Sabi Sand Game Reserve is an architectural gem that blurs the lines between nature and design. The Cheetah Plains game lodge, spread across 6,500 square metres has a brand new take on traditional safari architecture, offering guests an experience like no other.

ARRCC's remarkable year also includes prominent showcases at international design events; their collaboration with Valcucine at Milan Design Week captivated audiences with a visionary exhibit blending timeless aesthetics. This followed their acclaimed exhibition at the 2023 Venice Biennale, where ARRCC's groundbreaking designs were celebrated for their artistic ingenuity and transformative impact on modern interiors.
