The third edition of the LIV Hospitality Design Awards is now open, accepting entries until the 31st of January 2023, into its two major categories: Architectural Design and Interior Design. The program is open to architects and interior designers around the world who have created incredible projects in Hospitality.

Casa Lorena is located in Mérida historic downtown in Mexico and is part of what was once a house from the beginning of the 20th century, the property has been divided several times until reaching its current dimensions with only 4.5 meters front, a quarter of its original size.

Moos is located in Spaarndammmerbuurt, a neighbourhood best known for Het Schip, a housing complex designed in the Amsterdam School style. These buildings display all the hallmarks of this early 20th century architectural movement: ornate brickwork, a multitude of decorative elements, overlaying patterns in a variety of materials, and a love of craftsmanship.

Located in Dongcheng district in the ancient city of Beijing, the project consisted in the construction of a private courtyard house including the refurbishment of an existing Ming's dynasty building along the street. In the design process, it was important to give a clear reading of the old and the new while connecting both in a coherent architecture. The brick fence wall surrounding the plot and the old building's structure was kept untouched and two parallel buildings were added to create succession of three courtyards.

Homebuilding in 2021 slowed to a grinding halt because of problems with the supply chain. As 2022 comes into focus, builders should have fewer issues acquiring the materials and labor they need to make dream homes come true.

 DONIS Wins First Prize With Frame City. Fernando Donis' proposal to create new habitable topographies in which humanity and nature coexist has won first place in Dezeen's Redesign the World competition powered by Twinmotion.

CLB Architects has recently completed Dogtrot, a new residence in Jackson, Wyoming. Dogtrot is sited at the center of a quiet 18-acre meadow with panoramic views of the surrounding ranchlands, foothills, and mountains, notably Mount Glory, the distinctive southernmost peak of the Teton Range. Its design is inspired by the separate but connected forms of a dogtrot barn.

The restaurant takes its name, Samara, from the winged fruit of maple trees that twirls like a helicopter. That attention to nature find its counterpart in the design of the restaurant. Inside, rich earth tones dominate, bringing to mind a tranquil wooded understory.
