Scoria / Inon Ben David: The design concept of this Galilean restaurant embraces striking lines and expressive curves, bursting itself into the arms of nature. We wanted to outline the importance of preservation of the natural landscape and show designed and nature can coexist in perfect harmony.

Designed by Indian architecture and interior design firm Loop Design Studio, Baba's restaurant draws its inspiration from the architecture styles of rural havelis and houses of Punjab. The idea is to create an upcycled space with a traditional material pallette from around the context. The entrance alley is a longitudinal monolithic axis created using mud plaster/phuska and depicts the bazaar streetscape using different volumes, elements and layers.

When a former client, Doug Johnson, came to us with a new concept, he had little information for us other than a great waterfront location and the desire to bring real South American food to North Idaho. Having successfully worked with Doug in the past, we knew it was a project we would really enjoy working on, although the idea of producing an environment dominated by hot and humid weather would be difficult in the cloudy, cold winters that are, North Idaho.

“After a rain, in the forest, all lives are awoken. Take some time and enjoy the moment. Treat your taste buds to rich flavours. This might be the most beautiful thing.” Inspired by such aspiration for beautiful life, Karv One Design created a nature themed multi-media restaurant with an artistic concept.

Designed by Indian architecture and interior design firm Loop Design Studio Playground is a restaurant and lounge located in the main commercial hub of Chandigarh, India. It is an energetic injection of multiple textures, color and materiality that comes together on a beautiful canvas.

Previously a cloths boutique, the building is now turned into a restaurant. The building is located in an impassable alley in Tehran Grand Bazaar. In order to reach the building one must go through various bazaar pathways with numerous treasures of brickwork and ornamentations.
