Thomas Cravero: Origami Delta. The project has been created for its iconic character and singular geometry, which responds to a flexible use as a landmark of a complex in the Buenos Aires delta (REFUGIO 31).
Starting from a pattern and using the origami technique, it generates a suggestive piece open to the environment. Its layout provokes new readings of space and activity within a dense native vegetation, it is an intervention for the development of collective activities, but also a place where you can experiment with all the senses; establish a relationship with nature, perceive the sun's path through the play of shadows that is created through the wooden lattice.

The lighting transforms it depending on whether it is day or night, modifying the perception. Its structure is reminiscent of the folded forms of origami, Japanese.
At the same time, it facilitates the relationship between the material, the environment and the human scale. Morphological alterations form three levels where the stands are located, and under one of them is placed a storage space and at the end of the route a platform for a variety of activities. In this way the design unfolds unfolding on itself to generate a clean space, relegating the protagonism of the scale, exalting the visual changes and provoking in the spectator the inevitable game of recreating the constructive metamorphosis of the protagonist element.
