The Brutalist architecture that defies convention and blends harmoniously with the lush nature of the Oaxacan coast defines the sublime experience of Casa TO, in vibrant Punta de Zicatela. This sanctuary presents itself as a transformative refuge for travelers seeking a unique getaway, where tropical brutalism comes to life under the vision of renowned architect Ludwig Godefroy. The concept is a contemporary reinterpretation of an Oaxacan temple, with an imposing structure of pure and elegant lines that blends in with the surrounding landscape in a balanced way.

At Casa TO, introspection, privacy and reconnection with nature are the soul of its ambiance, resulting from a masterful composition that blends concrete walls, lush vegetation and clear skies into a haven of serenity and contemplation. The geometric volumes of the structure provide a feeling of spaciousness and freedom, especially around the pool and in the solarium arranged as a tiered terrace, both framed by the surrounding untamed foliage.

The open-plan design and contemporary aesthetics of its nine suites have been conceived as an intimate refuge of tranquillity, unparalleled freshness and privacy, ideal for relaxing and admiring the jungle beauty at leisure. The natural textures, handcrafted furniture and sober colour palette with vibrant accents provide a unique sensory experience, reflecting a hospitality that perfectly balances sophistication and comfort.

The stay at Casa TO is complemented by the gastronomic proposal of Glou Glou, under the direction of chef Luis Pabón and sommelier Gabriela Moreno. What began as a wine bar with an Omakase focus has evolved into a restaurant with 4- and 7-course tasting menus that celebrate the freshness of local ingredients and produce from nearby cooperatives. The pairing curation, carefully designed by Pabón and Moreno, offers natural, orange and light wines, including "Pétillant Naturel" from small producers, with options ranging from fresh and young to complex and traditional wines, always highlighting Mexican labels. In addition, Glou Glou offers an intimate atmosphere with personalized service that respects the privacy of diners, complemented by the homemade production of fermented foods, breads and cheeses. Coming soon, Glou Glou will open a wine delivery shop and continue its connection with the community through events and gastronomic collaborations.

Sustainability is a fundamental pillar at Casa TO, where environmental responsibility and hospitality intertwine to promote conscious tourism that prioritizes the preservation of the environment. Initiatives such as the zero plastic policy, a water treatment system, and the use of natural and vegan products in its amenities reflect the house's commitment in this regard.

Casa TO is a transformative hosting destination in the heart of Puerto Escondido, where architecture, gastronomy, nature and consciousness converge in an idyllic space for contemplation and deep connection .
