Versa Architecture: Located in the tranquil suburbs of Nicosia, Cyprus, this two-level residence encompasses 180 square meters, that harmonizes with the picturesque cypress-lined landscape. The design is developed with a volumetric connection of the two levels with the stair that unifies the diverse functional areas while giving the structure a dynamic and cohesive form. The building’s minimalist design is articulated through clean curved lines and a restrained colour palette, facilitating an unobtrusive presence within its natural setting.

Central to the architectural concept is a meticulously landscaped courtyard, which acts as a crucial element for enhancing natural ventilation while providing a peaceful outdoor sanctuary. The open-plan ground floor features a fluid arrangement of spaces, seamlessly blending a spacious living room, dining area, and a kitchen that flows into the courtyard. Expansive windows and sliding glass doors invite ample natural light, fostering a sense of openness and connectivity with the surrounding environment. This carefully integrated space is the heart of the home, fostering both relaxation and social interaction.

The upper level accommodates three well-sized bedrooms, strategically positioned to offer unobstructed views of the lush cypress, orange and olive trees landscape. Sustainability plays an integral role in the design, with energy-efficient systems and locally sourced materials contributing to the home’s minimal ecological footprint. Native plant landscaping envelops the property, promoting local biodiversity and reducing irrigation needs.
