Place Blanche is a luxury Chalet located at Verbier village in Switzerland’s Valais Canton, completed in 2013 by Les Trois Rocs. Arguably the most sought-after address in Verbier, Place Blanche is a stunning property in the heart of the resort. Overlooking the newly-built village square at Place Blanche and the W Hotel, the location could not be any better.

Facing a large lake, Nascente House was inspired by the love for water. This is what drove its entire design, starting with the creation of an artificial lake inside the house and the design of a large aquarium in the living room. On the ground floor, two blocks are connected through the volume of water, on one side the environments dedicated to leisure and, on the other, the social area with kitchen, living room and a huge aquarium covered in platinum copper.

Like every project entrusted to us, the needs of the clients are the triggers that give function, shape and texture to the beginning of each idea. Raw housing was born from the intention of creating a refuge, a different idea in the neighborhood where it was built, which stands out without makeup or color, only with materials that prove to be strong, durable and authentic over time.

This sprawling home was designed and built atop a steep hillside, 75 feet above Lake Austin. The homeowners, a young professional couple with three small children, wanted their home to be all about ‘lake life.’ To take advantage of the spectacular lake views and the surrounding heritage oak trees, LaRue Architects designed the structure with large expanses of glass making the home transparent from front to back upon entry providing incredible vistas throughout the home.
