“Zen Oasis” - A home gateway infused with Japanese aesthetics designed by Minus Workshop. The founder of Minus Workshop, Kevin Yiu has long been inspired by Eastern philosophies. He has taken over this residential design project into a modified version of the spirit of zen in Japan for a family who loves Japanese culture and wants a respite from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Berkshire House II is a substantial 550sqm five bedroom modernist new build home in a suburban village in Berkshire. Occupying a spectacular woodland site overlooking the river Thames, it replaces an existing dilapidated dwelling that one of the clients had grown up in.

These ten houses are part of a masterplan for 500 dwellings and a park by the Architecten Cie, called 'Het Funen, Hidden Delights'. The triangular site is located between the historic center and the recently redeveloped harbor area in the east of Amsterdam, a former parking lot for towed cars.

This project, for a house in Notting Hill in London, started during the COVID-19 pandemic. With social distancing, the works on site had to be organised differently taking more time to be done, using materials available in existing storage and more personal interpretation from the team on site due to remote communication.

As a proposal to the Guggenheim Museum, we present the Regenerative Architecture. Besides meeting technical, aesthetical and functional demands, the regenerative building is designed to become a spatial icon, prototype of the architecture of the future.
