Mylandscapes: Completed in autumn 2022, this large roof garden relishes biodiversity to the full, with abundant wildlife-friendly plant species for every season. Designed for a private investment bank, the 160sqm roof garden is part of 3 roof terraces featuring architectural trees, shrubs & grasses. Utilising meadow perennials, we’ve paired these with grasses to create an urban grassland, situated right behind the Bank of England, with stunning city views above the centre of London, framing vistas of the Shard, St Paul’s Cathedral & the Walkie-Talkie. This modern roof garden features biodiverse planting in 50 custom-made planters of varied sizes to cultivate dense planting of contrasting scales.

We specialise in bespoke rooftop planters, and this unique project features shallow troughs for grasses, medium troughs for shrubs and square containers for trees. Selected tree species include Betula, Cornus, Halesia, Broussonetia, Acer, Amelanchier, Magnolia, Osmanthus, Sorbus & Syringa, with Anemanthele grasses, underplanted with perennials such as Astrantia, Centaurea, Geum , Scabiosa, Teucrium & Veronica. The star of the rooftop is the Lythrum, the native purple Loosestrife, with stunning pink blooms all summer.
