Shomali Design Studio: The Havacil House is a weekend holiday home located on a site surrounded by the jungles and mountains of Ramsar city. It has a cubic shape combined with sloping roofs.
Much of the house was embedded into the ground and the roof separated from the built mass. It also has an open space on the top floor which could be integrated with the house to be able to host a large Japanese garden. Externally, the entire house concept comes from a bird named Havacil (Heron in the local language).
