Located in São Paulo, Brazil, this 235 m² apartment, owned by a lawyer, underwent its second renovation, both carried out by architect Andrea Balastreire, with initial collaboration from Rodrigo Carbonieri in the execution of the project. Although the design underwent few changes, the main goal of the renovation was to make a stronger impact on modernizing the interiors, creating a more welcoming and timeless environment.
Every detail of the design was thought out to meet the client’s desires, whose receptivity to the proposals resulted in a contemporary, light home that reflects her unique personality. Among the main transformations, the integration of two bathrooms stands out, resulting in a spacious and elegant master bathroom. The old bathtub was replaced with a functional shower, and the extra space was converted into a walk-in closet, providing greater practicality and organization.
The former office was transformed into an intimate TV room, a space designed for moments of relaxation and comfort. In addition, both the social and private areas received refined finishes, such as sophisticated wallpapers and custom joinery, adding a bold and exclusive touch. The art and design curation, combined with the client’s cherished pieces, guided the entire decorative concept, while the delicate landscaping, signed by landscape designer Patrícia Franca, completed the project with elegance.
The renovation also included a complete review of the electrical and plumbing installations, ensuring the safety and functionality of the new layout. The lighting design was conceived to enhance the textures and materials chosen, creating a cozy and sophisticated atmosphere. For the finishes, lightweight and comfortable options were prioritized, aligning with the goal of an authentic and understated design.
