This elegant and modern interior was exquisitely shaped by the hand of interior designer Marina Mirasova, fashioned for an energetic young businessman desiring a living space that would mirror his dynamic and spirited lifestyle. "The goal was to craft a residence that radiates sophistication and durability, reflecting the client's vibrant and modern way of living," the designer elaborates on the vision underpinning the project.

Nestled within the renowned Clock Tower building at the pulsing heart of Moscow's bustling city center, this 100 m² apartment not only boasts breathtaking views but also marries the allure of historical elegance with contemporary design aesthetics. Despite the building’s designation as a protected architectural landmark with stringent structural limitations due to its load-bearing walls, the client entrusted Marina with the ambitious task of completely revamping the apartment in a mere four months, striving for a design that effortlessly melds ageless elegance with contemporary chic.

From its foundation, Marina’s design approach involved a thoughtful reinterpretation of traditional motifs within a distinctly modern framework. Although the client favored bold and dark hues, the challenge lay in forging a space that radiated warmth and welcome, rather than an impression of starkness or severity. With ingenious creativity, Marina transformed the entryway into a compelling portal painted in a deep hue known as EL MAR, suggestive of the ocean’s vast depths and frothy crests, beautifully offset by a striking metal sculpture by Konstantin ZMOGK.

The living and dining areas are seamlessly connected by a cohesive color scheme. A canvas of soft gray ensures the room feels expansive and dynamic, augmented by elegant gold accents in the accessories and lighting fixtures that inject a layer of warmth. Subtle black decorative touches further refine the sophistication of the space. Natural wood finishes imbue the interior with a sense of both warmth and strength, enriching the deep and textured color palette. Custom-designed furniture, including doors, partitions, and wall panels by Marina, add to the bespoke elegance and cultivated ambiance of the apartment.

"My objective is to create environments that harmonize aesthetic allure with practical functionality. The selections we have made aspire to timelessness, ensuring that the interior not only aligns with contemporary trends but continues to resonate and remain relevant as initially envisioned with the client," Marina concludes, encapsulating her design ethos.
