Dobra Arquitetura: The transformation this property has undergone is certainly impressive. The ground floor apartment already had a super spacious private area, but it was barren and neglected. The interior was quite dark, with closed, small and poorly ventilated rooms.

In the renovation, the rooms were integrated and their layout changed completely. As the apartment has few windows, the spaces with more natural light were used for the activities that André likes the most: the place with a skylight, for example, which was previously occupied by the laundry room, was transformed into the kitchen. The two bathrooms and three bedrooms have also been completely renovated.

In the external area, the change was also radical. It got new coatings, a pergola, a sink, a wooden table, lots of plants and a water mirror. The space, which was previously uninviting, is now super cozy and relaxing.

What was the brief?

Completely renovate both the indoor and outdoor areas, bringing more light and warmth to the rooms.

What were the key challenges?

The apartment had few windows and a very different floor plan. Reconciling new openings with the building's structure was a keychallenge.

What were the solutions?

A new floor plan organization, integrating rooms for a more spacious feelings and a better use of the skylight, now bringing more light to the kitchen.
