Concept

The site was always a witness to the evolution of Cairo's architecture through ages and witness of the beauty and greatness of Cairo's architectural heritage.

So, the-Mokattam is considered a camera that filmed all the old events and entering into a camera as you would get in a photo project and pass the line between reality and image, between real image and latent image, between the real and its reproduction and travel to the past which is to revive the cultural aspects of the area.

Structure System

Shear wall, suitable for rocky soil, a rigid vertical diaphragm capable of transferring lateral forces from exterior walls, floors, and roofs to the ground foundation in a direction parallel to their planes.

Using Steel paneled system in roof for large span and cantilevers.
