The cottages are located on the outskirts of the city of Cosquín, in a new district called “El Condado”, which borders the River on one of its edges. This new neighborhood sits quite aggressively on the side of the mountain, in many cases destroying the characteristic natural landscape of the area.

Inspired by the Californian domestic experience of the 1950s, this house is resolved through a modular system that serves as an envelope. The skin, an industrial and standardized coating, was marking the rhythm of the full and empty. The house is resolved on a single floor.

Nature’s Abode is a residence designed for the Gargs who are located in the town, Shahabad, Haryana- A place of extreme temperatures. In a setting of such extreme temperatures and dry weather conditions, proposing materials that cater to the weather conditions throughout the season cycle, installing and configuring those materials, and ensuring their working conditions later are the few challenges the architects had to tackle in the initial stages of designing the same.

Inspired by Vancouver’s prominent “West Coast Fusion” culture, Floating House is a contemporary mix of eastern and western influences, designed by Arno Matis Architecture. The composition appears to float on a large reflecting pool within an oriental garden setting.

It’s located in the neighborhood where they have lived for many years and have forged deep social bonds. It’s a short one-block walk to their daughter’s school. It has beautiful mature trees. It has a pool! But still, after the sale closed the clients thought, why did we buy this house??
