Designed by Indian architecture and interior design firm Loop Design Studio Playground is a restaurant and lounge located in the main commercial hub of Chandigarh, India. It is an energetic injection of multiple textures, color and materiality that comes together on a beautiful canvas.

In 2018, a new cafe named 1/2 opened in Xiamen. In the past 4 years, it has developed into a coffee brand integrating coffee, inn, and customization. During the rapid development period, it plans to launch branches in Xiamen and surrounding islands. CUN PANDA NANA received this design commission.

Inspired by Cambodia’s traditional Khmer housing, the new retreat hut reinforces the significance of the gable roof with a uniform roof erected around a raised platform for living. The potential of the hut on stilts not only prevents flooding but also threads lightly onto the landscape.

The main idea of the design is based on a combination of modern style and organic style. (In the style of organic architecture, there is a balance between humanity and its surroundings. Eco-materials and sustainable energy are used. It is believed that the surrounding nature should be used in the interior design space of the house and flow in it.)

Stacked Dwelling is a weekend house in Igatpuri, standing on a compact 360 sq m linear plot. The narrative unfolds against the majestic backdrop of the Sahyadris. The name is derived from the organisational strategy which orchestrates the interior spaces as two small houses placed on a platform, albeit cohesive in design vocabulary.
