The Helaachin Villa, designed by Yaser and Yasin Rashid Shomali at Shomali Design Studio, is an architectural gem that draws inspiration from the rich Gilaki culture and language. The name “Helaachin” itself means “swing” in the Gilaki language, reflecting the prominent use of a swing as a central element in the villa’s design.

Situated in a picturesque foothill region, the villa boasts a stunning view of the surrounding mountain range and lush plains. The architects have strategically oriented the building towards the west, ensuring the best possible connection to the natural environment. Additionally, the sloped roofs facing north and west serve as a design feature to protect against the area’s heavy rainfall.

The villa's form Is carefully crafted to seamlessly blend with the slope of the land and hills, demonstrating a deep respect for the natural landscape. The layout features two bedrooms on the second floor for enhanced privacy, including a larger room with a spacious terrace overlooking the breathtaking scenery. The ground floor houses another sizable bedroom, while the open-plan kitchen seamlessly integrates with the living space.

Embracing the outdoor-oriented design, the villa also incorporates a large terrace, a roof garden, and a swimming pool, as well as a fitness space in the basement. This holistic approach allows the residents to fully immerse themselves in the captivating natural surroundings.

Overall, the Helaachin Villa stands as a remarkable example of architecture that skillfully blends modern design with the rich cultural heritage of the region, creating a harmonious and awe-inspiring living experience.
