The interior design studio Between the Walls is actively expanding, crossing new borders, and presenting its second project in Paris — Bon Bouquet Cafe. The establishment belongs to the renowned French company The Hungry Family. This is one of the group's key projects, marking a significant milestone in their restaurant business.

Bon Bouquet's design challenges traditional Parisian aesthetics. Gone are the expected wicker furniture and classic lamps; instead, the cafe features sleek modern elements that make a statement. From the outside, Bon Bouquet appears relatively calm: a milky facade with understated name and logo signage, and a roll-up glass window system. However, once inside, patrons are enveloped in luscious pink and bold designs. One of the notable features is the extensive use of microcement for the floor, benches, drawers, and bar counter. This durable material not only provides practicality and ease of maintenance but also creates a natural texture that complements the cafe's verdant environment.

Acoustic foam was used to finish the ceiling, which insulates the establishment from residential apartments on the upper floors. The space is designed to encourage exploration. Well-thought-out scenarios for the arrangement of furniture and decor motivate visitors to interact with their surroundings. The bright pink tables and chairs contrast beautifully with the lush greenery that adorns the cafe, creating a dynamic and inviting atmosphere.

Deep inside the establishment lies a daylight-free zone, where the studio created an amphitheater with pink upholstered furniture and soft yellow lighting. This plays with the shadows of greenery on the walls, giving the space a jungle-like ambiance. Between the Walls paid special attention to creating a space that was not only Instagram-worthy but also comfortable for visitors. To achieve this, it was crucial to ensure appropriate lighting and harmony between the color scheme and decor elements.

The main solution was collaboration with Expolight, a Ukrainian company that works with light as a tool to create emotions of comfort, safety, confidence, aesthetic satisfaction, and delight. For 24 years, the Expolight team has implemented more than 2,000 projects of various complexity levels worldwide and is the undisputed leader in lighting design in Ukraine and among the strongest globally.

The restrooms continue Bon Bouquet's bold design narrative with two different color schemes that emphasize the space's unique aesthetic. The green bathroom is adorned with richly textured walls that create a soothing yet vibrant atmosphere. The use of organic forms is evident in the undulating design of the ferm living mirror, which adds a playful touch to the minimalist space. Refined and modern Expolight fixtures have functional elements organically integrated into the overall design.

The pink bathroom offers a different but equally exciting experience. Warm textured walls envelop the space in a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Contrasting dark fixtures add a touch of sophistication, while French brand Trone's mosaic-inspired toilet design brings a hint of artistic flair. Both restrooms are designed not just as functional spaces but as integral parts of the overall cafe aesthetic, encouraging guests to appreciate thoughtful design details.

Bon Bouquet aims to provide a unique experience to Parisians seeking something out of the ordinary. A visually prominent bar area and carefully selected plant arrangements, as well as ceramic stucco on the walls in the shape of tropical plant leaves, contribute to an atmosphere that is both tranquil and exciting.
