Design Base Architecture: The property has been designed in a way that sees it disappear into the landscape yet still giving guests incredible views and absolute privacy. The design encompasses everything from an on-site kitchen garden and orchard to a yoga and wellness studio through to its micro-distillery.
The principal of Waimarino said: We wanted to give guests the opportunity to disappear into their villa but also offer up areas of connection like the garden and orchard, yoga studio, restaurant, fire pits, and distillery.
The materials we have used have been sustainably grown and sourced, whilst the ambiance is one of understated clean sophistication.

Elements like the living roof help to hide the structures in the landscape whilst improving the comfort of the guest through the natural retention and disbursement of heat.
All buildings were developed off-site and craned into place to minimize the impact on the environment whilst the landscaping seeks to utilize and encourage the growth of native fauna.
