The eclectic design, based on the concept of the wonder-rooms from the 16th century, formed the main idea to combine art, music and architecture.

Linear volumes featuring board-marked concrete, masonry and wood make up this angular house, designed by Mexican firm Di Frenna Arquitectos. Casa Nicté-Ha is located in Colima City in central-western Mexico, near a small lake and the Colima volcano.

To start the tour of the house, we first parked and have a reception hall, this node we wanted to be the most important decision-making point of the house, where from here we could go to any space. From going directly to the main bedroom, like going to the public area.

The main concept of the build was to accomplish spaces where the boundaries between inside and outside blur: where the ranges and colors of the environment integrate into the shades of the building, and where the inhabitants can walk barefoot across the considered choice of the same natural stone floor without distinguishing whether they’ve come out or into the house and delight in the phenomenology that this materiality awakens in all of their senses.

Located in Riviera Nayarit this particular house takes its environment as a inspiration for explore the funcionalism radial and created cozy interiors.

This remodeling project is in Mexico City. It was a complex project, since it was a total remodeling, in which a change of finishes, kitchen, bathrooms, carpentry furniture, ceilings, floors, walls etc.  was made, in addition to a complete interior design.

Throughout the years, Mexican cities had experimented urban and regulation changes -sometimes unplanned- due to the demand of living spaces, creating a void and density difference between the downtown neighborhoods and the outside suburbs.

Emperadora House is an incredible 9,000 square foot home located in Baja California, Mexico. Result of specific needs and requirements of the user, an imposing house with a great conceptual meaning for the whole family.
