Cushing Terrell was commissioned to design a structure to be used as a backdrop for a sculptor’s on-site commission at the 12,000-acre-spanning Tippet Rise Art Center, located just outside Fishtail, Montana. The program requirements for the project were simple: replicate a late-1800s one-room Montana schoolhouse to provide a relatively protected interior space for housing a sculpture made of saplings.

The rebirth of Villa Hatvany-Lónyay. The villa that was originally designed by Miklós Ybl and built on the Ottoman-age Golden Bastion has been entirely renewed. After the Hatvany-Lónyay era the SS used the building as a casino but later it was completely demolished in a bombing raid.

KHI is located in a gently sloping olive grove in the southern Peloponnese. The project is formed by a single continuous rippling wall that frames a series of protected courtyards at the extremity of each wing.

The farmhouse is located in a thermal waters area. The house blends in with nature, and is part of it. The built space is combined with the natural space in continuity.

Located in an olive grove in southern Peloponnese, this summer residence is characterized by an Ypsilon shaped green roof that acts as both an accessible extension of the terrain, while framing the most significant views from the inside out. This is a villa in the north of Iran. It is a house to live especially, and enjoy the amazingness. We want it very minimal but with some excellent features. Our idea was to design it with a lot of shine , beside the mattness. We worked on it for more than 3 month and finally we satisfied the client.
