Designing a small apartment that was cozy, connected and with free circulation was the focus in the execution of the POP Grafite project located in the city of São Paulo, Brazil, and signed by the Memola Estudio office in partnership with the architect Vitor Penha.

As part of an interior project that aims to show how design can make the most of small spaces, the apartment developed for a young man who lives alone, sought functionality, with well-thought-out and custom-made furniture.

The clean decoration provides spaces with personality, and the light color palette, present on the walls and furniture, also contributes to expanding the visual perception of the environments. Natural materials, such as wood and ceramic flooring, bring a feeling of warmth and marble, elegance.

The deconstruction of the bathroom, with an external bench, makes the space wider and more relaxed and the transparency of the glass as a divider brings lightness and allows natural light to permeate the entire apartment. The key point of the project was to create an environment without excesses, versatile, timeless and with very well defined uses. Which resulted in a minimalist and welcoming atmosphere that the resident was looking for.
