Monmaratelier | BOSAK: A simple house of rectangular plan with a gable roof respecting the local character of the countryside and buildings is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, which is followed by fields and meadows. Because of its direct contact with the surrounding greenery, it looks as if it grew naturally out of it. The natural character of the exterior is reinforced by the use of appropriate materials. The surface of the facade is made of white traditional plaster and a ventilated facade of larch boards without finishing, which promotes, by its gradual natural ageing, the blending of the house with the surrounding environment. The roof covering is made up of grey corrugated iron sheeting.

The building consists of a house and detached storage rooms and a garage, which are connected to the house by a flat roof. The starting point for the form of the design was mainly the layout and aesthetic requirements based on the idea of a traditional way of living in a family house. The result of the activity is a rational family house that speaks of the character of the building and respects the local architecture.

The layout of the house is very simple and airy. The main entrance is located in the lee, which is oriented on the southeast facade of the building and is connected to the exterior communication - paved area that leads to the public road. The entrance area is characterized as an entrance hall with an adjacent cloakroom and also provides access to the technical facilities with laundry. The entrance hall serves as the main communication unit within the 1NP.

Directly opposite the entrance area is oriented study, separate toilet and next to the bathroom for children. The bedroom is located in the northeastern part of the floor plan. It is equipped with an en-suite bathroom and a walk-in closet. The floors of the house consist of a first floor and an attic, with these two spaces communicating with each other - they connect in the place of the gallery.

The living room space opens over two floors up to the gabled roof, the construction of which is acknowledged. Maximum glazing across the full width of the living room and kitchen-dining room allows for a visual connection between the interior and the outdoor covered terrace and garden. The attic is reached by a single staircase accessible from the children's room, whose ceiling is open, filled with a walking net. This serves for relaxation and interconnects the zones of the children's room. Upstairs there is a gallery and a separate room, a sleeping area for children.

The materiality of the interior is characterized by simplicity, namely the combination of wood, white plaster and natural materials. Black accessories accentuate it in this respect and let the space stand out.
