Nat Telichenko: This is a real old-school barbershop - museum in the center of Kharkiv, Ukraine, which opened in December 2022. A very interesting miniature room with a triangular shape. Due to the height of the ceilings 470 cm, we designed a balcony on which a bar, a waiting area and a washroom were placed. The total area of the barbershop is 27 m².

The space has a chic, old-school barbershop feel, filled with original shops artifacts from around the world. Legendary American Koken chairs from 1923, Takara Belmont from the 1960s. A dental cabinet with a 1918 cobalt blue ceramic top from Istanbul and a story that the owner of the cabinet not only extracted teeth, gave painkillers, but also shaved clients. Of course, the eternal Hunter fan, imported from Brooklyn. A three-meter mirror in a chic cherry frame, bought from an elderly French woman in Paris. A collection of hair dryers from the 1920s to the 1960s, connected and working. The bar and work area countertops are decorated with cognac leather. The red Fiat Ballila was installed during the 22-23 blackout to hide the stabilizers from view. A collection of mustache cups, a cast iron hair wash, a National cash register, a Rockola music machine...

And many more objects and stories that fill the space of the barbershop.
