Studio Habitect: The oakwood project is a design that emphasizes on the different finishes and tones of oak in different areas of the house. Once you enter the house you are welcomed with a connected living and dining area segregated by a wooden finished partition which has a significant presence yet doesn't block the visual connectivity between the spaces. The partition helps to define the two spaces individually. The space is wrapped with warmth of golden Oak and all the furnitures in the common area are finished in neutral fabric tones to not make the space feel very loud and keeping it calm and cozy. To balance the wooden tone the centerpieces like dining and coffee table are finished in black PU.
The backdrop of Dining area which also is the highlight wall when you enter from the main door is finished in random rubble finished mint stone. The stone wall brings weight and grabs the attention on first glance. Kitchen area connected to dining is finished in PU and has bluish hues to provide contrast to the warmer tones in living. All the three bedrooms in the house are finished in different tones of oakwood. The kids bedroom has rustic wooden tone complemented with tan upholstery giving a bold and youthful feel to the space. Main master bedroom has golden Oak finish complemented with hues of green in the upholstery to give it a more earthy and natural feel, whereas the guest bedroom has a charred Oak finish with off whitish wardrobe giving it a sharp look. Bedrooms are kept very minimal to make them feel light and airy.
