In the heart of AhmedabadIntrinsic Designs unveils its latest triumph: a 2500 square foot show flat in the prestigious Avant development. Led by the architects Shivraj Patel and Shruti Malani, this project exemplifies the firm's philosophy of crafting spaces that embody luxury and humane touch.

From the moment one steps inside, the flat is a haven of meticulous design and thoughtful detail. The entrance immediately sets the tone, presenting a solid green spider marble console nestled within a semi-dome niche. This striking element acts as a conversation starter, subtly transitioning visitors into the homes' narrative. The adjacent smoked oak veneer dining wall adorned with playful white clay lighting by Harshita Jhamtani and evocative black artwork by Rutva Joshi forms an elegant backdrop, blending art and design into a seamless welcome.

Living and dining spaces reveal themself as a harmonious blend of form and function. The open floor plan fosters a fluid interaction between the dining and living zones, wherein all elements within each area maintain their individuality. The dining area features a concrete-top table by Artocrete, which has a playful and chunky form that draws the eye and sparks curiosity. The chandelier by Harshita Jhamtani, centered above the table, delicately crafted from clay leaves hangs like a piece of suspended poetry, casting a warm, luxurious glow.

In the living area, the conversation continues through thoughtfully placed furniture that interacts with its surroundings. Custom pieces, adorned with textured fabrics and spider green marble accents, stand out against the smoked oak veneer backdrop. A rug of organic form, crafted by the artisans of Mirzapur, binds the room together, and truncated cone-shaped lighting fixtures adorned with poplin silk by Atelier Lumys add a soft yet dominating presence. Each element, from the charcoal-colored table lamp to the two-sided wooden swing, contributes to a dynamic yet cohesive aesthetic.

The bedrooms offer serene retreats, each space meticulously designed to reflect its occupant's needs and personalities. The grandparents' room, for instance, showcases a monochromatic palette consisting of smoked oak veneer wall paneling that seamlessly integrates the rest of the apartment. Subtle touches of spider green marble add color and intrigue, along with the simplicity of the bed and solid wooden side tables creating a harmonious environment for cozy nights.

The master bedroom continues this journey of understated elegance. Dark beige plastered walls, complemented by the warmth of wood, create a subdued sanctuary. A custom-made stone mosaic headboard and a hand-knotted rug from Mirzapur artisans blend seamlessly into the room's monochromatic palette. Bulky armchairs with geometric upholstery add unique character, and golden hour lighting enhances the space's tranquil ambiance, allowing natural light to play a crucial role in defining the mood.

In the kids' room, a neutral palette is enlivened with hints of green, creating a playful yet sophisticated environment. A curvilinear study table paired with a sleek metal chair forms a creative corner, while a vintage rug and black terrazzo lamp add whimsical touches. The room balances simplicity with distinctive elements that give it a unique personality.

The guest bedroom, meanwhile, exudes contemporary luxury with its soft, tranquil vibe. Strong geometric patterns and a curved headboard in the upholstery create a cohesive aesthetic, while tandur grey flooring and soft furnishings maintain a timeless appeal. A full-height mirror with microtopping and a vintage patterned rug adds depth and character, enhancing the room's transitional outlook.

Intrinsic Designs' attention to detail is evident throughout the apartment. Minimal yet dominating light elements contrast with raw textures, creating eye-catching focal points. Sculpted pieces manifest a symphony of luxury and elemental design, crafting contemporary comfort through curated forms, colors, and textures. The design philosophy focuses on materiality and form, producing a tangible oasis where each element— lights, artwork, rugs, or textures— everything has a voice.

In every room, filtered sunlight plays a crucial role in enhancing the luxurious ambiance and promoting an eco-friendly lifestyle. Soft sunlight, streaming through sheers and blinds, bathes the spaces in a warm, inviting glow, reinforcing the design's connection to nature.

Intrinsic Designs' show flat at Avant is more than just a living space; it is an embodiment of modern luxury and human-centric design. Each room tells a story, blending form and function into a cohesive whole that reflects the firm's commitment to creating spaces that are beautiful and personal. In this project, Intrinsic Designs has not only set a new standard for residential design but has also crafted a sanctuary of subtlety and elegance in the heart of Ahmedabad.
