Texas is one of the most diverse American states, and its architecture is a perfect encapsulation of its rich culture and history. Whether we talk about mid-century homes, or apartments for rent, it is important to say that each home or building in Texas is unique and has a history behind it. 

The project is located in an ordinary village on the outskirts of Beijing, a typical plain-based northern Chinese village mainly composed of one- and two- storey courtyard houses. Most houses in the village face south, and feature red bricks and tiles.

A Mid-Century Modern and Wabi-Sabi influenced contemporary office in Erode, Tamil Nadu that houses an heirloom textiles operation. The balmy city of Erode is the nucleus of Tamil Nadu’s thriving textile industry and is cloaked in a riot of sound and colour. The location celebrates the harmonious binary coexistence of the old and new, both tingeing the city’s history.

The project consists of an outdoor auditorium for 12,000 people , a concert hall for 3,500 people , six live houses ("whales") , five restaurants connected by a walkway, two towers with an office program, a museum and rehearsal rooms, a center of exhibitions and a series of parks and walks that connect the entire intervention.
