Over 512 pages the Amsterdam-based studio, Studio Modijefsky, takes the reader on a visual voyage that immerses you in every step of their design process. Every step from concept to construction is brought to life in stunning detail as the studio reveals how it creates multi-layered spatial experiences.
Inspired by Place showcases eleven homes designed by the architects of CLB from their studios in Wyoming and Montana. A portion of the homes also highlight the group’s interior design work, which strikes a balance between sophisticated and comfortable and is conceived as a natural extension of the architecture.
Today, traditional dwellings, adapted to climate, culture, and context, are gradually replaced by dwellings informed by imported fashions and by an abstract knowledge, insensitive to the subtle knowledge achieved through a deep experience of nature and local climate, and its potential in terms of adaptation and manipulation.

Adam Court, sole designer for luxury artisanal brand OKHA immediately fell in love with the “Verde Magnifico” marble when he saw it. The stone’s visible layers of history speak to OKHA’s South African locality of cosmopolitan, polyglot and multi- cultural charm. Court conceived of Magnifico side and Magnifico coffee table together.
