When most people think about outdoor storage sheds, the first thing that comes to mind is extra storage space for tools, lawn equipment, and seasonal items. While it is true that an outdoor storage shed can provide a much-needed extra storage area, there are many other benefits you may not have considered.

The design aims to enable the possibility of enjoying marine biodiversity via architectural intervention. The architectural form was inspired by the amphibian animal family which can survive both on land and in water. The house mimics this trait of the amphibian by having the structure partially submerged in water and partially above it.

The design brief was to build a setting, grounded with texture and colour imbibing a calm and minimalistic environment. At first glance the four vertically stacked triangular planes of concrete which form the front facade defines this concrete home in Indore, India. The 5800sqft suburban home sits in a plot size of 2400 sq ft.
