The unique context of the place and the potential negative consequence of implementing a new tissue in this unique area meant that the decision to shape a new building was not easy and had to refer directly to these guidelines, not compete with them, and "respond" to the environment with its uniqueness in a contemporary way.

The objective was to make the place more welcoming by providing a range of pedestrian facilities while emphasizing the identity of a historical neighborhood. As a result, the 1,8-kilometre-long riverfront area was transformed into a major attraction for people of all ages and walks of life. The panoramic view of the river and the iconic Kotelnicheskaya Embankment Building makes it a perfect destination for morning jogging, afternoon bicycle rides with friends, evening walks with dogs or families, and romantic sunset dates.

The design brief for Terra Limassol was simple but extravagant; to design a residential tower as a setof vertically stacked individual villa’s on top of a commercial plinth.

 The design draws inspiration from the motion of a koi fish leaping through a dragon gate, allegorising it to the pioneering spirit and upward development of the area. Through volume shifting, the podium is designed in a streamlined wave shape, to mirror the temperament of the coastal city.
