Recently we were given the opportunity to design a home with ageing in place at the forefront thanks to two design-loving and passionate clients who were ready to sell up their family home and move closer to Mt Eliza village.

Sound House is a 5,500sf single-family home on a steep slope site in Seattle’s Magnolia neighborhood. The program for the house was unique, in that it needed to house a large blended family of two adults and six children living together for the first time.

The natural configuration of the land inspired the name of Casa Colina, located at Fazenda Boa Vista, in the interior of São Paulo. Positioned in a format resembling the letter “c”, the project allowed visual contact with all the ground floor environments of the residence.

A second chance for the renowned "ice house". This house is a perfect example of how architecture not only creates a home, but also shape communities for the better.

This project in Marin County, CA, north of San Francisco, is built on a lot that was vacant when purchased by the client. The V-shaped site has a natural drainage swale through its center, effectively dividing the land in half. The site’s natural topography simultaneously presents a challenge and an incredible opportunity for a unique build with and amazing view of Mt.

The project is also equipped with the first international luxury brand hotel in Central China, Hotel Indigo. The project combines the irreplaceable lake scenery and the promising city supporting facilities.
