DROP is all about refined taste—in drinks, presentation, and, of course, in the space's ambiance. Ukrainian designer Oleksandr Makhno designed the interior of Kovel’s finest coffee shop.

“In this project, I wanted to bring the idea of authenticity to life. It reveals itself in natural, top-quality materials and truly original decor. Among the many identical, template-like city cafés, we dreamed of creating a place with its special vibe—a place with atmosphere and soul. Every tiny detail matters here because authenticity cannot be faked.” — Oleksandr Makhno.

TRUE NATURALITY

The natural essence of coffee is accentuated by using natural materials in the interior— the perfect choice for creating a cozy atmosphere. The walls are clad in genuine 150-year-old oak, while the ceiling is adorned with tree roots. Visually striking, yet at the same time, it feels familiar and homely, evoking memories of rustic wooden houses and thatched roofs.

You can feel the warmth here. Wood is the warmest of materials, and such walls and ceilings not only enhance the microclimate by absorbing humidity but also create a sense of harmony. Even the tabletops for guests are made from vintage wood—massive, solid, and pleasant to the touch.

TRUE QUALITY

The floor and parts of the walls are finished with high-quality micro cement, featuring an exclusive texture that mimics the pattern of natural rock. Above the gleaming metallic bar counter, another wonder takes center stage—a family of designer lamps shaped like coffee drops. Oleksandr Makhno created them exclusively for DROP.

Quality is felt in every detail— in the custom-made furniture, state-of-the-art coffee equipment, the most advanced climate control systems, every drop of your coffee, and, most importantly, your feelings and emotions.

TRUE VALUE

Creating an interior is the art of making a mood. And mood cannot be faked or imitated. It is born from details and elements and their interplay, forming a unique blend of sensations. This is why we cherish our space—because you feel good in it.
