Beautiful Miami has long been known as the land of beautiful people, where supermodels cavort in the sunshine. Attracted by the strong economy that is home to some of the greatest companies the world over, such as Carnival Cruise Lines, Microsoft, and Citibank, investors have swarmed the Magic City. Well-regarded figures across industries have also joined in on the real estate craze.

The city itself has only grown more gorgeous over the past few years with the introduction of numerous high-class buildings, many branded by the most luxurious names in fashion. Today, we’ll investigate the incredible people who have settled into the city, as well as the fashion icons who are crafting their masterpieces.

Lionel Messi

This Argentinian soccer player is perhaps the most famous sportsman in the game; he was crowned Player of the Year in 2022 and is most known for scoring a shocking five goals in a Champions League game against Bayer Leverkusen in 2012.

Nowadays, Messi has settled into Miami life. He first joined the real estate market here back in 2019, purchasing a sumptuous condominium in the Porsche Design Tower, which he sold in 2021 for $7 million. However, this did not spell the end of his love affair with this sunny city: he then purchased a home in the Regalia condo tower for $7.3 million. Located on Sunny Isles Beach, this building includes six swimming pools, a fitness center, a champagne bar, and a yoga studio. His unit is on the 9th floor and includes four bedrooms and a staggering six bathrooms.

While not quite as flashy as the concept for fellow footballer Cristiano Ronaldo's Miami mansion, visualized by Veliz Arquitecto, Messi is sure to live in the lap of luxury within the confines of Sunny Isles Beach.

Jeff Bezos

This is a man who needs no introduction: he’s the genius behind the global shopping behemoth, Amazon. Having started the company in the early days of the Internet, he nurtured it into the true “everything store,” including its acquisition of organic grocery store Whole Foods.

Bezos actually owns multiple properties near Miami, including three mansions on the ultra-luxury enclave Indian Creek. This island is known as the “Billionaire Bunker” for the fact that multiple of the world’s most powerful people own homes here. His latest acquisition on the island was earlier this year, bringing his total sum spent on Indian Creek property to a shocking $234 million.

Some of his neighbors include famous football quarterback Tom Brady, singer Julio Iglesias, and former President Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump.

Dolce & Gabbana

Dolce Gabbana Residences in Miami represents the ultimate in luxury. Set to be delivered in 2027, the building features the painstaking work of world-renowned ODP Architecture & Design, which has crafted a crown-topped tower drenched in black, ivory, and gold. Its interiors feature sharp, contemporary designs by Studio Sofield, with three palettes for residents to choose from in the fashion brand’s signature colors.

With 269 units across 90 floors, the building will include a dizzying array of amenities, including a fitness center, a luxury spa, and a pool club with attentive service. Residents will also appreciate its exclusive Signature Club House, which has a dedicated cigar room, wine storage, and a sports simulator. Better yet, residents will appreciate its excellent location in the heart of Brickell, Miami’s financial district.

Elle Magazine

Not to be outdone, Elle is planning its own entry into the Miami real estate market: Elle Residences Miami. The building will feature 180 turnkey residences that range from studio apartments to sweeping penthouses that provide a gorgeous view of Miami and its Atlantic beachfront.

As one would expect from a fashion magazine, Elle Residences Miami will have some of the most meticulously designed interiors that would be front-page ready. Residents will have two floors of amenities, which include a gym, outdoor fitness lawn, meditation garden, and a spa. A rooftop swimming pool and residents-only lounge allow its lucky condo owners to soak in the famous Miami sunshine with poolside service.

Missoni

Missoni is most known for its luxury fashion, especially its colorful knitwear; the brand’s style echoes the history of minimalist design, with a strong focus on silhouettes and color combinations. This ethos has transferred over to Missoni Baia Miami, a 57-story tower that opened last year. Residents enjoy colorful yet minimalist units with marble flooring, open-concept kitchens, and floor-to-ceiling windows that capture Miami in all of its most beautiful moments.

Missoni Baia Miami offers a number of different floorplans that cater to different price points, including penthouses with some of the most amazing views in the Edgewater neighborhood. Additionally, there is a huge array of amenities, including an Olympic-size swimming pool, a fitness center, spas, and concierge service to attend to one’s every need.

There’s no question that Miami is the playground of the rich and famous; its options for ultra-luxurious properties only grow longer by the year. Whether you’re seeking the classy beauty of Dolce and Gabbana Residences or a more secluded experience on Indian Creek island, Miami will never disappoint.
