Located in the small town of Troncones a few minutes away from the International Airport of Zihuatanejo, considered a world renowned secret getaway and an excellent surf destination, Lo Sereno emerges as a private refuge by the Pacific Coast beach.

On the Hembrug terrain in Zaandam, an area of 42,5 hectares, a monumental industrial site has been transformed by Studio Modijefsky into the home and studio of an artist couple. The studio has joined forces with the client’s atelier, Studio Molen, for the design and realization of bronze details and custom light elements; this collaboration resulted in a perfect balance between the spatial design and the sculptural elements for this freshly restored industrial heritage building.

F- Loulos Villa is located at a plot with unique view in Divounia, two hills that emerge from the Aegean Sea, like a part of Aphrodite’s body, the ancient goddess of love and beauty. The house is totally inspired by the natural and wild side of Mykonos and attempts to bridge locality with the contemporary summer living.

Facing a large lake, Nascente House was inspired by the love for water. This is what drove its entire design, starting with the creation of an artificial lake inside the house and the design of a large aquarium in the living room. On the ground floor, two blocks are connected through the volume of water, on one side the environments dedicated to leisure and, on the other, the social area with kitchen, living room and a huge aquarium covered in platinum copper.

This house, set on a steep slope covered with typical Brazilian savanna vegetation, is located in front of a preserved area facing mountain views. Its location strategy, longitudinal to the terrain’s contour lines, is defined by the extensive cover concrete slab, which is fluidly inserted according to the specific needs of the program and the terrain.

The Indian architecture firm Wallmakers led by Vinu Daniel has recently completed Jack Fruit Garden Residence, a single-family home that largely constructed with CSEB (Compressed Stabilised Earth Blocks) and Rammed earth walls. 

Completed in 2014 by Singapore-based architecture studio Aamer Architects, ''Railway House'' is a semi-detached home located in Singapore. As a typology, the semi-detached house is often perceived as a Siamese twin, reluctantly conjoined to its symmetrical other via a single party wall. The desire to challenge such a notion drives the parti of this single-family house. By separating and pulling the main building block away from the party wall, a semi-detached house breaks free.
