A new way to live and work in the heart of Salt Lake City, Mya, at four stories and 130,000 square feet, combines the highest quality affordable and market-rate housing (30/70) with unique public and private amenities, creative community coworking space, and catalytic ground-level retail in a holistic, world-class, mixed-use community.

For the new Fragment Apartments we have come up with a unique and visually strong architecture, which is responsive to the context, both past and future. In addition to formal and functional aspects, a natural connection to the surrounding public space is what extends the building out, makes it more accessible and completes it visually and functionally.

Bravos House was designed in 2013 and built from 2013 to 2015 at the Porto Riviera Condominium, in Brava Beach, city of Itajaí, Southern Brazil. The organization of the 937-square-meter house opens its best views to the east sector of the site, where Brava beach is located.

L’Accostée House is located in the Adstock area, on the shores of Lac St-François. The clients have lived on this beautiful site for a few years and enjoy aquatic activities on the lake. Since their original house was in poor condition and becoming too small for their growing family, they decided to rebuild while preserving the natural surroundings and keeping the open space on the edge of the lake.

Located in the verdant Laurentians in Quebec, the Estrade Residence reveals itself discretely on the shores of Lac de la Cabane in St-Adolphe d’Howard. It is by studying the steep and rocky topography of the place that MU Architecture decided to highlight the peculiarities of this site with an adapted and captivating architectural intervention.

A private outdoor space was also intended. However, instead of the common backyard, the approach was to provide a middleyard, in order to achieve some privacy in the outdoor space. The house was designed in a “C” shape, turning its back to the surroundings and facing an interior patio that opens only in an unobstructed area.
