Nourhan Abdelall: This article sheds light on the urgent need for public toilets, particularly at the popular LAGOON BEACH in the Red Sea area, as well as the lack of shower stands in the vicinity. Drawing on my experience and innovative approach, I have developed a sustainable solution using AI-generated models to address these challenges.
The Red Sea area, with its breathtaking beaches, is currently grappling with a major crisis stemming from the absence of public toilets, especially in Egypt. Recognizing the significance of this issue, I embarked on creating a sustainable solution that combines AI-generated models with advanced design techniques. By utilizing the ChatGPT 4 prompts and conducting multiple trials, I ensured the accuracy and optimal outcome of the AI-generated designs. The Midjourney process involved in creating the AI images, along with post-production enhancements using Photoshop, resulted in compelling visuals that brought the solution to life.
Inspired by the aesthetic appeal and functionality of Japanese-colored bathrooms in public places, my design aims to challenge prevailing stereotypes associated with unclean public toilets in Egypt. The concept revolves around Glass Transparency, a feature that dynamically changes once the user locks the door, providing privacy and enhancing the overall user experience turning glass into opaque.
Furthermore, this design addresses a significant problem specific to the Red Sea area, where the lack of shower stands poses another challenge for beachgoers. Public beaches should not be neglected solely because of their accessibility. Therefore, this solution, while modest in its approach, offers a practical resolution to the problem using AI methods, all within an affordable budget and with readily available materials.
