Baihua Commune is situated in the northeast of Baihua Village within Tangchi Town, Anhui Province, nestled in a picturesque valley surrounded by mountains. Approximately 70 kilometers from Hefei City, the area is characterized by undulating terrain and Hui-style architecture.

Replacing a run down, former socialist-era structure that once dominated the site.

This project builds on the successful experiences of previous projects to address the specific requirements of users in delivering both therapeutic and aesthetic-health services by defined standards, establishing itself as an innovative model in the design of health spaces.

The current house has been renovated, from the current condition and now is being completed to 6 floors, with a conventional old design and not yet optimized for the functionality proposed by the homeowner. Hanoi is the city with a density of buildings, vehicles and people.

Rather than delicately resting into the landscape, pretending that it could be easily dismantled in the future, House X embraces its invasive, almost parasitic nature. It fully integrates into the environment, aiming, through its abstract design and materiality, to become an inseparable part of the landscape.
