NIDO interiors: The apartment in the South-West of Moscow is situated in one the last representatives of Stalinist architecture houses. «The Red Houses» were built based on projects developed by Mosproekt workshop #3 under guidance of the architect A.V. Vlasov.
We wanted to preserve the spirit of the time the house was built in without digging into stylized design and overloading the space with mid-century objects becoming very popular in those years. We kept most of the space open nominally dividing it into zones making only bedrooms and bathrooms separate. The first floor includes the hall overflowing to public zone. Traditionally the accent is shifted from bright contrasting solutions towards the complexity and diversity of patterns and textures, their naturalness and somewhat color smoothness.
