Interior designer Maria Ushakova undertook the design of this apartment, tailored for a successful business woman immersed in the film and television industry. "Having collaborated before, I've come to grasp the client's preferences, and she, in turn, entrusts me entirely with her vision. It's worth mentioning that the apartment owner possesses impeccable taste and a profound appreciation for contemporary art," shares Maria.
This time around, the client sought a functional yet cozy interior with refined details, providing a serene atmosphere for relaxation after work and gracious entertainment for guests. "For me, the clients themselves serve as endless inspiration because their living space's future aesthetic is intricately linked to their lifestyle, aesthetic sensibility, and passions," adds Maria.

Spanning 120 square meters, the apartment comprises an integrated living room with a kitchen-dining area, a master bedroom, and a separate home office that can double as a guest room when needed. The space embodies practicality while accentuating its inherent strengths — ceiling height and an airy ambiance, enhanced by sweeping views of the adjacent golf course through panoramic windows. "The apartment's style leans towards French casual chic, inspired by both the homeowner's preferences and my affinity for Parisian interiors characterized by classic proportions, light walls with ornate moldings, modern furnishings, and art," explains the author of the project.
Drawing from Parisian aesthetics, they opted for French herringbone parquet, adorned walls with elegant moldings, and installed tall skirting boards to visually elongate the space. These understated classical techniques imbued the interior with a sense of lightness and sophistication.
The primary color palette features light shades, providing a backdrop for vibrant accents in materials and custom furniture upholstery based on Maria's designs. These are complemented by distinctive vintage and designer pieces. Vintage lamps sourced from Italy and France dominate the apartment's lighting scheme, including unique ceramic fixtures handcrafted by a French artisan, discovered by Maria in a quaint Parisian gallery during one of her excursions.
"In this project, the client and I shared a mutual understanding of harmony and equilibrium in interior design, resulting in a space that is both understated and refined. As a designer, I find myself enamored with every room in this apartment. Perhaps, it's this sentiment that brings me utmost satisfaction — the fact that every corner of the apartment delights the eye and exudes aesthetic allure," concludes the designer.
