Guests will enjoy an evening at one of architect John Lautner's iconic houses, masterfully restored by owner Mark Haddawy, who recreated the original interiors and built the guest house from Lautner’s unrealized 1958 drawings. Also, in the backyard, there’s the Futuro House conceived by Matti Suuronen in 1968. Along with tours, party-goers will enjoy appetizers, signature cocktails provided by Vermont Spirits, and live entertainment.
Tickets: $249.
The Gertler House Tour
Sunday, November 3rd, 10 AM-3 PM
Hilltree Road, Pacific Palisades

The 1970 Gertler residence is a prime example of Ray Kappe’s timber aesthetic in a decidedly Modernist vein. Adept at building on steep lots, Kappe used 10 redwood towers with laminated beams to support a series of redwood-clad volumes. The multi-level house beautifully melds with nature, including a central eucalyptus tree. Timed entry tours are every half hour from 10 AM to 3 PM.
Tickets: $59.
