The realization of SAAN Architekci studio is an excellent example of contemporary architecture that combines minimalist elegance with functionality and timeless character. This 480 m² suburban villa was designed as a natural extension of the surrounding landscape. Every element of the space - from the functional layout, to the carefully selected materials, to the innovative technologies - was thought through to create a harmonious and soothing interior, where aesthetics go hand in hand with the convenience of everyday living.
The main idea of the project was to open the house to the surrounding landscape and match the aesthetics of the interior with the appearance of the block. Thanks to the use of large-format glazing, the interior constantly interacts with nature, and daylight plays a key role in emphasizing its spaciousness and the fine materials used here. Panoramic windows frame views of the garden, blurring the boundaries between inside and outside, while bringing inside a play of chiaroscuro that changes the character of the space depending on the time of day. Natural materials - oak veneers, solid wood, concrete floors, stone, and glass - build a calm, timeless atmosphere. The textures and colors used relate to the landscape, creating seamless transitions between the living space and the villa's surroundings.
Living room - the heart of the house in a modern rhythm
The living room is a space where minimalist aesthetics meet the warmth of natural materials. The color scheme of the interior is subdued, based on a monochromatic palette of warm beiges, broken whites and elegant grays, which build an atmosphere of calm. The dominant element of this space is a large, modular sofa with an organic form, which invites you to relax and defines the relaxation zone. It is also the focal point of the living room, which emphasizes the elegant character of the interior, while introducing warmth and coziness.
Carefully selected lighting, does not dominate, but builds a subtle atmosphere, complementing the natural light so important here. Hidden LED strips and spotlights further emphasize the structure of the materials, exposing their natural beauty.
Cubic - minimalist form, maximum functionality
One of the most expressive elements of the interior is the monolithic, minimalist cubicle, which acts as an architectural core connecting the various spaces of the house. Its compact, geometric form is both an aesthetic element of the composition and a hidden functional center, in which cabinets and a toilet door are integrated.
The surface of the cubicle has been covered with wood veneers, which warms up the space and gives it nobility. Thanks to the use of a door without a rebate, the solid remains uniform and minimalist, blending into the surroundings instead of dominating the space. In this way, the architects achieved the effect of a clean, consistent geometry, in which functionality and aesthetics work together in harmony.
This solution not only organizes the space, but also discreetly conceals functional functions, allowing the entire interior to maintain a minimalist aesthetic. Thanks to precisely planned divisions and materials, the cubicle subtly defines the individual zones of the house, while not disturbing its openness.
Kitchen - elegance hidden in simplicity
The kitchen is the essence of modern minimalism, where each element has been subordinated to the principles of ergonomics and functionality, and the whole is subordinated to aesthetic harmony and stylistic order. Smooth, handleless cabinet fronts and a consistent color scheme create a unified, elegant body, which is dominated by natural stone and quartz sinter, materials that are not only beautiful, but also extremely durable.
The worktop, made of light sinter with a subtle texture, emphasizes the modern character of the kitchen and compliments the warm wooden veneers used on the cabinet fronts.
Private zone - the soothing power of nature
Bedrooms are spaces of tranquility, where natural materials, cozy fabrics and subtle lighting accents reign supreme. Wooden headrests, airy curtains and monochromatic colors create an atmosphere of tranquility, ideal for relaxation.
Also in the bathrooms there was no lack of inspiration from the nature surrounding the house. Natural materials dominate here, and large glazings let in daylight. In the main bathroom, concrete walls contrast with elegant sinks and large mirrors that optically maximize the space. A freestanding bathtub provides views of the garden, which emphasizes the idea of closeness to nature.
Modern technology and functionality at the highest level
The residence is equipped with a smart home system, which allows smart control of lighting, heating and security systems. Eco-friendly solutions, such as a ground source heat pump and photovoltaic panels, ensure energy efficiency and independence from traditional energy sources.
The villa also offers recreational spaces to suit the lifestyles of its residents. The wellness area includes a gym, dry and wet sauna, and an outdoor swimming pool with a wooden terrace that becomes an integral part of the living area in summer.
International award for exceptional design
Thanks to the exceptional coherence of the concept, perfection of the details and the use of innovative solutions, the project won an honorary award from INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY AWARDS as Best Residential Interior Private Residence in Poland. This prestigious award, given to projects that set new standards in architecture and design, confirms the highest quality of this development.
