Banyan Tree Nanjing Garden Expo is a luxury hotel located on Tangshan Mountain, which was once a paradise dense with clouds and mists. However, the exploitation and destruction by humans have stripped its vegetation, changed the geography, eroded the soil, and damaged landscape, turning Tangshan Mountain into devastated industrial ruins.

DNA Barcelona Architects presents “Tree Life Boutique Hotel, Aldea Zamá, Tulum, Mexico”, a new project for Giada Real Estate, inspired from the Nature patterns- wooden façade and lots of greenery inside. The hotel represents a solid triangular building with the surface of 1.652 m2 with big panoramic windows all along the complex, covered by a uniquely developed tree structure which creates an interesting game of shadows and at the same time gives a feeling of protection to its guests.

This 360 sf. structure is located on a remote 60 acre, privately owned second-growth forest in Sullivan County, NY. It is sited on a steep, isolated area of the property with no vehicular access, no piped water and no electricity.

The local landscape is dotted with small mountain villages, offering an abundance of cultural and natural beauty. The first phase of the Nanchawan Stone Houses project was completed in 2020, during which time the architects had already planned the second phase.
