Bronzetto creates some bespoke products for Velona's Jungle Luxury Hotel, in Florence: an authentic sign of the encounter between beauty, artistic craftsmanship and unmistakable style. For experienced globetrotters.

In the historical centre of Florence, Velona's Jungle Luxury Hotel is an eclectic and cosy space, ideal for curious travellers, collectors and exclusive experiences.

A refined luxury guest house where art, design and the typically Italian taste for antiques and all things handcrafted and tailor-made come together. In fact, the hotel's original owner was an esteemed antique dealer in the Florentine world who, in the 1950s, loved to collect art objects of Italian and international origin, found and personally selected from the thousands of historical palaces in the European capitals he visited.

Today, in the hotel's original and highly eclectic suites, traces and evidence of this passion remain in the careful combination of works of art by emerging contemporary artists, rare books, precious tapestries and fabrics and original decorative objects collected with passion.

Defining the atmosphere, however, are several objects commissioned ad hoc from contemporary artists and craftsmen, such as Bronzetto, whose precious supply of furnishing objects and lamps has undoubtedly contributed to giving an unmistakable style to the rooms of this hotel.

This extraordinary combination of tradition and innovation gives life to unique and luxurious spaces where guests can immerse themselves in the beauty of lush nature while remaining in the heart of the Renaissance city. Indeed, the design of the four suites draws inspiration from the lush jungle, its flora and fauna, creating an eclectic and enchanting atmosphere that ideally transports one to exotic destinations.

The mood of this hotel evidently derives from a wise and conscious choice towards a perfectly eclectic style: in the rooms of the Velona, objects and upholstery play, as a rule, an important role, expressing that impulse to furnish each room differently from one another, mixing styles and associating colours and shapes with audacity.

Today, therefore, with the works of art already part of the house, more recent works by emerging artists, upholstery and décor by the best-loved designers, objects, books and small details that have been chosen and collected with great dedication by the owners over the years, are integrated.

ECLECTIC: COLLECTION OF CUSTOMISED FURNISHINGS

To enhance the exotic jungle-inspired atmosphere, the owners of Velona's Jungle developed a collaboration with Bronzetto to create customised lamps, furniture and accessories inspired by the Eclectic Collection.

The collection draws inspiration directly from nature with castings that faithfully reproduce the characteristics of various plants and animals in brass. Each of the hotel's four suites, Livingstone, Darwin, Fossey and Durrel, feature custom-made lighting fixtures adorned with motifs of tropical plants, exotic animals and intricate jungle designs. These custom-made lamps not only fulfil their function, illuminating the space, but also act as veritable objects d'art, adding a tangible touch of whimsy and eclecticism to the entire decor.

Oak wall light with cast brass frame and fabric shade. Like every object in the Brass Brothers & Co. Eclectic collection, it draws inspiration from the world of nature, its perfectly irregular shapes, each one as different from the others as branches and leaves. In fact, this small wall lamp has a branch supporting the shade made of a neutral fabric that recalls autumn colours. It can be customised in the finish of the brass and the colour of the fabric of the lampshade.

Bamboo table lamp with brass frame, double fabric shade and marble base. This important table lamp attracts attention for the particularity of having a brass frame worked in such a way as to recall the vigorous stem of the Bamboo plant, its strength, but also its delicacy and sinuosity. The double lampshade, trimmed in grosgrain, is made of fabric: the outer one in écru-coloured jute with a broad weave, and in elastic fabric on the inside, to conceal the bulbs from view.

Customisable in brass finishes.

Frog table lamp with cast brass frame and fabric shade, both customisable in colour. With this extravagant blend of art and lighting, Bronzetto introduces the wonderful world of animals into its world of illuminating objects, adding a touch of charm to the design of its products and creating a unique furnishing and lighting complement, thanks to the great craftsmanship and experience that the company's artisans have gained in working a material such as brass, worked with micro-castings, lost-wax castings or in sand, to create surfaces with a rough and textured appearance that perfectly reflect the imperfect uniqueness of the elements of nature.

Oak table lamp with brass and oak frame and elegant fabric shade. The bark- covered stem transforms into the structure of the lamp, making each one a unique and original piece. Sinuosity and elegant style characterise the eclectic shapes of this collection that marries exotic taste and attention to luxurious details typical of modern jungle-themed atmospheres. A perfect mix of functionality and elegance for any environment. Customisable in brass finishes and shade fabric colour.

Bamboo coffee table with three legs. Inspired by the most varied forms of nature, this coffee table is available in different sizes and features a marble top in a choice of Bianco Carrara, Nero Marquinia and Marrone Imperatore, and a cast brass frame, which can be customised, choosing from a number of possible finishes: from natural brass to dark burnished to amber, as well as in the same colour as the marble top. The Bamboo line is the quintessence of refinement and study of detail, skilfully reproduced in elegant and sophisticated lamps and furnishings.

Oak three-tier table with brass frame and marble base. From the single central leg, which finely reproduces a bush trunk, branch off the three leaf-shaped brass tops arranged at three different heights. To complete the work, which faithfully reproduces the details of the plant such as the leaf veins, two small snails placed on the first leaf plane. A charming little reminder of the animal world that gives the coffee table a further aspect of extraordinary resemblance to reality.

Rosa Canina brass handle. Made of high-quality cast brass, it features an elegant design and burnished finish that effectively recalls the thorny, rough appearance of the dog rose. This handle represents the perfectcombination of form and function.
