We are an architectural buro TYURIN+PARTNERS, we would like to introduce you to our project — cafe "Love" in Samara, Russia.

The cafe specializes in serving breakfast and brunch all day. In the interior concept, we tried to convey the main concept — to reflect love in all its bright manifestations. To do this, we used warm orange shades.

The bright color of the ceiling immediately captures the attention of visitors, invigorates and charges with a good mood. In order to distract the eye from large structural elements and hide all communications, we used the technique of combining forms with one color and visually lowering the ceiling, while maintaining its maximum height.

The building itself — a cultural heritage site-was built in 1891. To honor the heritage we left a part of the historical brickwork open.

When designing the interior, we tried to use all the advantages of this room. A large number of high windows prompted us to decide on an open-plan solution with a minimum of partitions and light walls. Thus, we managed to preserve the airiness of the space and increase the flow of natural light. This made it possible to place live plants in the interior and create the atmosphere of a summer garden, where the sun streams through the openwork foliage.

The cafe landing is divided into zones where you can spend a Sunday breakfast together, or come with a large friendly family and taste your favorite Viennese waffles. Most of the tables are located near the window, and those in the center are separated by living screens of trees. The concept of an open kitchen allows visitors to satisfy their curiosity and watch the process of preparing their breakfast.

The idea of loving nature is reflected in the materials — for countertops, we chose recycled plastic of the Russian brand Qullar with a tactile velvety surface texture and a small unobtrusive pattern.
