The DOMO bureau had the task to design a universe for the Samolet developer in the game so users could experience the company's values, career prospects and products in an interactive format. The project included the development of a residential complex with towers, mid-rise housing, landscaped courtyard, amphitheater, parking, school, soccer field, forest and lake.
This residential complex is an example of phygital architecture, in which the architect had the opportunity to explore the boundaries of the physical and digital worlds. Despite the game format, the task was still challenging. It was important to create a project that would reflect the company's values and approach, as well as be interesting from a game perspective.
The architecture is inspired mainly by the graphics of this computer game. The pixels that form the high-rise buildings, and then the entire courtyard and landscape, resemble a accidentally scattered toy construction set.
The minimalistic, concise architecture of the exterior facades of the complex is familiar and common for every city dweller. But as you move into the inner courtyard, the architectural appearance will surprise visitors with an eccentric contrast, scattered with pixels of bright colors falling out of the building's core.
Tens of cascading terraces filled with greenery flow smoothly from the building volume into the courtyard, forming unique spaces and creating a variety of scenarios for people to interact with the environment. The courtyard is filled with a large number of functional zones, where everyone can find a place and activity of their choice: from private meetings in the shade of trees to loud parties and lectures in the amphitheater.
